Amy Huff has been CrossFitting for five years. She specializes in long distance running and she loves any type of exercise that requires endurance. She says she is passionate about people, fitness, and Jesus. “ I love building relationships and supporting people as they work towards their goals. Watching people change their lives and thought patterns into something positive and productive is humbling to be a part of,” she says.
Although Amy says she doesn’t have a long list of credentials for winning first place in any sports, she does have a long history of learning how to overcome fitness obstacles. After being an avid runner, Amy experienced a knee injury that led to three separate surgeries. As a result, she was unable to participate in many of the sports and activities that she loved. Despite these challenges, Amy looks back on the ordeal with positivity: “I am thankful for the season of difficulty because it has rooted me in gratitude for being healthy and able to do the sports I love today.” Most importantly, Amy’s own challenges with rebuilding strength allows her to effectively coach and guide members who have their own fitness obstacles to overcome.
